War
As it played a crucial role in supporting the war effort from 1941 to 1945, the interruptions caused by World War II temporarily halted the plant's development. After the war, SEIM refocused its efforts, specializing in the production of equipment necessary for the oil industry. This was the catalyst for a new era in the plant's history.
Today, SEIM has a sprawling area of 7.21 hectares, featuring modern production space including 22,508 m2 of covered buildings and 13,959 m2 of production workshops. The plant operates with modern machinery and up to 640 skilled workers.
